Residency Verification at Wolf Canyon

All Camarena Students who are not new to the CVESD for 2013-14 will clear residency at their current school of attendance.   Please contact that school for the dates and times of residency verification.  For those Camarena families that are at Wolf Canyon, here is their schedule for residency verification:

Monday, June 3rd through Friday, June 7th.

The hours will be as follows

8:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. and again from 1:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

On June 4th and 6th we will have special extended hours from 7:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. and again from 1:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

1st PTA Member

Thank you Dr. Winters for becoming the first member of the newly chartered Enrique S. Camarena Elementary Parent Teacher Association. On April 10th, parents and teachers met at Wolf Canyon Elementary School to adopt the bylaws for the new PTA. Once enough parents had joined the PTA as charter members for the 2012-2013 school year, nominations and voting commenced. Videos Requested

We are in the midst of selecting an incredible group of gifted educators who will be working alongside your children beginning in July.  I would like to introduce those teachers to the Camarena community and I thought, “Why don’t I ask the students to introduce themselves?”  Therefore, I’m asking for any Camarena student who is willing and able to submit a 1-minute video.  Please tell our Camarena staff, “What is unique about me, my family and my community?”    This will help our teachers begin to understand and appreciate the families that will be coming to their doors.  When you have a video ready to send, please send me an e-mail and I’ll invite you to a dropbox folder where you can send the video.  Thanks in advance.
