Our PTA is planning a big start to the school year with our Meet the Teacher event on July 20th from 4 PM to 7 PM. At this event, you will be able to get the name of your classroom teacher and many of our teachers will be on campus to meet their new students. The PTA has also organized some fun activities which include:
Inflatable World $15.00 for unlimited play
Food wlll be available from Halphen Red, Chic-fil-A, Tapioca Express, and many more. It will also be a good chance to sign up for PTA membership and donation.

Why it is on a Saturday? Cant it be schedule on a weekday?
The PTA scheduled this hoping to meet the needs of the majority of our families. We know it doesn’t meet everyone’s needs and for that we apologize. You can pick up your teacher’s name and school information on Monday, July 22 or Tuesday, July 23 if you can’t attend the July 20 event. Thanks a million.

Is there anyway to get confirmation if our student’s teacher will or will not be there? We are planning to come home from Comic Con to meet our child’s teacher but it will be a big bummer if we do that and realize that he/she isn’t even there!
Great question. I will work on a solution for those classes that I know won’t be represented.
We unfortunately won’t be available to attend this event. Can I assume that you will be notifying parents via another means what our child’s class will be and/or what supplies my child will need to be prepared for class. I was hoping to have this information a little sooner than the 20th as that seems to be cutting it a little close. Thanks!
If you can’t attend, you can pick up information at the school on July 22 or 23. We will prepare a suggested list of supplies as soon as possible and post on the website.
I will also be attending comic con that day. I have three children attending Camarena this year.

Looking forward to this event. I just want to say a huge thanks to Dr. winters, all the staff, and PTA for all the hard work that has been put into this school. So glad to be part of the Camarena family and that my kindergartner gets to start out in an awesome school/school district. I think I’m more excited for my son than he is. I can’t wait to find out who his teacher will be!
I agree! This is such an exciting time and we are so blessed to have such a wonderful school just a stone’s throw away from our home. Our PTA is already incredible, and the school year hasn’t even officially begun yet! We just keep looking forward to more wonderful things to come.
